The below video provides a demonstration of various techniques for redirecting and addressing an attack in the form of  shoulder grab and strike to the head (katatori menuchi).  The techniques are performed by Master Koreteshi Maruyama, Founder of Aikido Yuishinkai and are demonstrated at basic (kotai) level.

The demonstrated techniques are:

• katatori menuchi makikomi;
• katatori menuchi irimi nagi;
• katatori menuchi nikyo;
• katatori menuchi kotegaeshi;
• katatori menuchi kokynage.
