In the below video R Crane Sensei provides detailed instruction for the Aikido technique Shomenuchi ganseki otoshi.  Ganseki otoshi (heal over head drop) techniques are rarely seen practised in modern aikido due to challenging ukemi that is required to safely receive the technique.

They were, however, a feature of Osensei’s training in the 1930’s and in the post war years at Iwama Dojo, Japan.
